Flashes to Ashes

Today, some people will go to church and rub ashes mixed with oil on their foreheads.   It’s a sign of repentance and reminds us that life is short so they need to be serious.

Yesterday some of those same people concluded Mardi Gras, which is a major celebration with parades, costumes, food, drink, and the flashing of boobs (mostly women’s).  It’s a way of reminding people that life is short and they need to quit being so serious.

Whatever.

You got any beads?
